As an experienced graphic designer and product design leader, my goal was to craft a brand identity and visual concept that encapsulated the essence of their culinary vision. Drawing inspiration from the organic forms of leaves and the natural ingredients used in our dishes, I sought to create a design language that aligned with their commitment to authenticity, warmth, and inclusivity. The name Candelaria Kitchen evokes a sense of warmth and familiarity, reminiscent of home-cooked meals shared with loved ones. The word Candelaria pays tribute to the Latin American tradition of celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Candelaria, symbolizing the fusion of cultures and culinary traditions that define the menu. Meanwhile, the word Kitchen emphasizes their focus on fresh, made-from-scratch cuisine prepared with love and care.
